The two largest unions in Spain recently called for a general strike on the 29th March 2012 to protest against the recent changes to the labour laws and austerity measures that have been imposed by the PP government.
It is not known how much disruption there will be but if it is anything like previous strikes, there will not be too many problems. In the last general strike it was agreed that between 20% and 40% of international flights would be guaranteed, although it is not clear if there are such guarantees this time.
